Hafele 003.15.004 Titebond Original Wood GlueHafele 003.15.004 Titebond, Original Wood Glue is a reliable solution for wood bonding, offering a generous capacity of 2.15 gallons. This fast-setting adhesive significantly shortens clamp time, allowing you to complete projects more efficiently. Its excellent heat and solvent resistance ensure durability, while outstanding sandability makes it ideal for a smooth finish. Designed for versatility, Titebond bonds wood, hardwood, high-pressure laminates, and particleboard with ease. Application is straightforward; simply spread the glue using a roller spreader or brush, or transfer it to a plastic bottle for precise application. For optimal performance, ensure the application temperature is above 50°F, with an assembly time of approximately 5 minutes at 70°F and 50% relative humidity. The required clamping pressure ranges from 30-250 psi, depending on the materials being bonded. Cleanup is hassle-free, requiring only a damp cloth while the glue is wet, and any dried excess can be scraped off easily. Although Titebond offers strong bond strength-3,600 psi at room temperature on hard maple-it is not intended for exterior use or moisture-prone areas. For those applications, consider using Titebond II Premium Wood Glue.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES Application temperature:Above 50°F Assembly time after glue application:5 minutes (70°F/50% RH) Minimum required spread: 7 mils (typical) Required clamping pressure: Enough to bring joints tightly together (generally, 30-80 psi for HPL, 100-150 psi for softwoods, 125-175 psi for medium woods and 175-250 psi for hardwoods). Methods of application: Easily spread with a roller spreader or brush, or may be transferred to plastic bottles for finer gluing application. Cleanup: Damp cloth while glue is wet. Scrape off dried excess. BOND STRENGTH ASTM D-905 (On Hard Maple) Temperature Strength psi % wood failure Room Temperature 3,600 77 150° Overnight 1,600 10 LIMITATIONS Not intended for exterior use or where moisture is likely. For exterior applications use Titebond II Premium Wood Glue. Freezing may not affect the function of the product, but may cause it to thicken. Agitation should restore product to original form. KEEP FROM FREEZING Note Chalk temperature indicates the lowest approximate temperature at which the glue, air or materials to be bonded may be to assure a good bond.
