Hafele 003.15.011 Titebond II Premium Wood GlueHafele 003.15.011 Titebond II, Premium Wood Glue is the ideal adhesive solution for both interior and exterior woodworking projects. With a generous capacity of 1 gallon, this glue is designed for excellent heat and solvent resistance, making it suitable for a variety of applications, including radio frequency (R-F) and hot press gluing systems. Notably, it is FDA approved for indirect food contact, ensuring safety for use in items like cutting boards. Application is straightforward, requiring a minimum spread of just 7 mils and providing an assembly time of approximately 5 minutes at 70°F and 50% relative humidity. To achieve optimal bond strength, clamping pressures should typically range from 30-250 psi depending on the wood type. This glue can be easily applied using a roller spreader or brush, and cleanup is simple with water while the glue is still wet. Hafele's Titebond II has demonstrated impressive bond strength, with results of 3,750 psi at room temperature on hard maple. However, it should not be used for submerged joints, and freezing may affect viscosity but does not compromise functionality. Keep this reliable adhesive in mind for your next woodworking project to ensure durable and lasting bonds.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES Application temperature:Above 55°F Assembly time after glue application:5 minutes (70°F/50% RH) Minimum required spread: 7 mils (typical) Required clamping pressure: Enough to bring joints tightly together (generally, 30-80 psi for HPL, 100-150 psi for softwoods, 125-175 psi for medium woods and 175-250 psi for hardwoods). Methods of application: Easily spread with a roller spreader or brush, or may be transferred to plastic bottles for finer gluing application. Cleanup: Damp cloth while glue is wet. Scrape off dried excess. BOND STRENGTH ASTM D-905 (On Hard Maple) Temperature Strength psi % wood failure Room Temperature 3,750 72 150° Overnight 1,750 6 LIMITATIONS Passes ANSI/HPVA Type II water-resistance tests. Do not use for joints below the waterline or continuous submersion. Freezing may not affect the function of the product but may cause it to thicken. Agitation should restore product to original form. Because of variances in the surfaces of treated lumber, it is a good idea to test for adhesion. KEEP FROM FREEZING Note Chalk temperature indicates the lowest approximate temperature at which the glue, air or materials to be bonded may be to assure a good bond.
