Hafele 003.15.062 Titebond III Ultimate Wood GlueHafele 003.15.062 Titebond III, Ultimate Wood Glue offers a robust solution for all your woodworking needs with its impressive 5-gallon capacity. Designed to meet the ANSI/HPVA Type I Specification, this waterproof adhesive provides superior strength, making it ideal for a variety of applications. Its longer open time of 8-10 minutes allows for precise adjustments, while its lower application temperature ensures ease of use even in cooler environments. Resistant to solvents, heat, and mildew, Titebond III is unaffected by finishes and cleans up easily with water, making it both user-friendly and non-toxic. Approved by the FDA for indirect food contact, it is a safer choice compared to traditional waterproof glues. To achieve optimal results, apply when temperatures are above 47°F, and use between 100-250 psi of clamping pressure depending on the wood type. For fine applications, consider using a plastic bottle, roller spreader, or brush. Remember that this glue is not suitable for continuous submersion or structural applications. For best practices, especially with exotic or oily woods, consult Hafele's Technical Support Team. Keep out of reach of children and avoid freezing for maximum performance.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES Application temperature:Above 47°F Open assembly time: 8-10 minutes (70°F/50% RH) Total assembly time: 20-25 minutes (70°F/50% RH) Minimum required spread: Approximately 6 mils or 250 square feet per gallon. Required clamping pressure: Enough to bring joints tightly together (generally, 100-150 psi for softwoods, 125-175 psi for medium woods and 175-250 psi for hardwoods). Methods of application: Plastic bottles for fine applications; glue may also spread with a roller spreader or brush. Cleanup: Damp cloth while glue is wet. Scrape off and sand dried excess. BOND STRENGTH ASTM D-905 (On Hard Maple) Temperature Strength psi % wood failure Room Temperature 4,000 57 150° Overnight 800 0 LIMITATIONS Not for continuous submersion or for use below the waterline. Not for structural or load bearing applications. Use when temperature, glue and materials are above 45°F. Store product below 75°. Storage above this temperature may cause product to thicken and reduce the usable shelf life. If thickened, shake vigorously by firmly tapping the bottle on a hard a surface until the product is restored to original form. Because of variances in the surfaces of treated lumber, it is a good idea to test for adhesion.
