Hafele 003.15.082 Titebond II Dark Wood GlueHafele 003.15.082 Titebond II, Dark Wood Glue is engineered for superior performance, making it an exceptional choice for woodworking projects involving darker woods. This 1-gallon formulation boasts the same reliable qualities as Titebond® II Premium Wood Glue, including ANSI Type II water resistance, designed for both interior and exterior applications. Its excellent sandability and compatibility with various finishes ensure a seamless integration into your projects. With an application temperature above 50°F, this glue offers a quick assembly time of just 5 minutes at 70°F and 50% relative humidity, allowing you to complete your tasks efficiently. The product provides a minimum required spread of approximately 6 mils or 250 square feet per gallon, ensuring optimal adhesion. Clamping pressure is essential; typically, 100-150 psi for softwoods and up to 250 psi for hardwoods. Cleanup is straightforward, requiring only a damp cloth while the glue is wet, and any dried excess can be scraped off and sanded. Ideal for bonding wood, hardboard, particleboard, leather, cloth, and most porous materials, Titebond II is your go-to adhesive solution. However, it's important to note that this product is not FDA approved for indirect food contact and should be kept from freezing.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES Application temperature:Above 50°F Assembly time after glue application: 5 minutes (70°F/50% RH) Total assembly time: 15 minutes (70°F/50% RH) Minimum required spread: Approximately 6 mils or 250 square feet per gallon. Required clamping pressure: Enough to bring joints tightly together (generally, 100-150 psi for softwoods, 125-175 psi for medium woods and 175-250 psi for hardwoods). Methods of application: Plastic bottles for fine applications; glue may also spread with a roller spreader or brush. Cleanup: Damp cloth while glue is wet. Scrape off and sand dried excess. Not for structural or load bearing applications. Do not use when temperature, glue or materials are below 55°F. Freezing may not affect the function of the product but may cause it to thicken. Agitation should restore product to original form. Because of variances in the surfaces of treated lumber, it is a good idea to test for adhesion. Not FDA approved for indirect food contact.
